Thunder Bay Zero Waste Action Team membership is open to members of the Industrial, Commercial and Institutional Sectors, Community Organizations and Citizens of NorthWestern Ontario who are committed to working together towards a goal of Zero Waste. There is an annual membership fee of $60.00 payable on September 1. Fees cover annual costs for the Website, mail box and administrative costs and educational materials. The ZWATeam provides sponsorship on an individual basis for events and initiatives that support Zero Waste and a more healthy and sustainable community and region. Members take turns hosting bi-monthly events which include facility tours and educational presentations arranged by the Executive of the ZWATeam. Meetings include peer information sharing opportunities so that members can benefit from each others' experience.
